[for Matt]
It's a good night. Athletic, even. Very satisfying for all parties.
Hopefully Matt didn't mind that Epimetheus takes up most of the bed when he sleeps.
To make up for hogging the bed, though, Epimetheus offers to spring for a late breakfast when they finally get up and head down to the bar. Which means getting a booth and plenty of eggs, bacon, and toast, and a lot of coffee. Epimetheus is looking pretty pleased with himself -- for this morning's efforts as much as for last night's.

She casts Epimetheus a backward glance, then smiles at Matt.
"I hope we meet again."

When she's gone, he glances towards Epimetheus, approaching the booth slowly with a container of salt.
"I asked around in the kitchen, and they recommended fleur de sel."

He might be coaxed out of his sulk a little, even.

"I panicked a little bit. Is everything okay?"
no subject
NEVER MIND, STILL SULKY.
"She just likes to stick her nose in where it doesn't belong."
no subject
"Should I be worried?"

"Well, when you put it that way."
It's not like it's exactly unheard-of for people to fight over him. The poetry battle was funny at the time, but now it feels a little like a lyrical harbinger of things to come.
... Maybe that's overdramatic. But maybe it isn't??

He reaches for his lukewarm coffee.
"I only ask because of that thing where I'm in trouble a lot."

(He also knows he can't really blame said tangent on a run-in with the goddess of love.)
"I'll do my best, then." A slight, crooked smile. "I can be charming occasionally."
no subject
"Yeah, you're pretty charming."

The continuing crook to his mouth may communicate something to this effect.
"Mm," he says, after a beat, "well, if that's settled ... I would like to try some of this fleur de sel. And then I'm not sure what your plans are?"

"Respectable start." He takes a bite, chews. "And if you want to go do that now, no problem, it's been a lot of fun. But I can't help but notice that there's one place your family's unlikely to be."
no subject
Epimetheus grins.
"Pinky, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
no subject
"If what you're thinking is 'room, upstairs,' then yes, I am, and it's downright eerie."

He nods at the remaining bacon.
"Well, keep your strength up."

He gives Epimetheus an angelic (and close-mouthed) smile.
